What materials did you use? Several years' worth of swim team t-shirts that a friend spirited out of her daughters drawers - I'm making the quilt as a 21st birthday present. Other materials are cottons and batiks, and cotton batting. I split it into 3 sections to quilt it; center stripe then sides. MUCH easier than trying to shove the whole quilt into my machine! I used several of the techniques shown in class and they were extremely helpful.

Thank you! I made it as part of a class at a local quilt shop, and they had the book "T-shirt Quilts Made Easy" from the American Quilters Society which had a lot of good ideas and instructions in it.
