What materials did you use? cotton fabric, most from the line Gypsy Bandanna by Pillow and Maxfield

What are you most proud of? The feathers are mostly quite even, and the tension is good. I tackled the problem of skipped stitches, and with a change of needle and thread, all was well!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I'm suggesting Quilt As You Go for a method for a project as big as this (100" x 105"). I quilted this in sections 35" x 100" and it was quite manageable.

Great look, wonderful colors in the piecing! And great control on those feathers on a domestic machine!!

Your "feathers" are wonderful, but I must call attention to your color/fabric choices. Wow! Those blocks are fab. A lot of work in the whole quilt, ENJOY IT. Thanks for sharing

Love the various sizes of swoon blocks! I'm just getting ready to start my second Swoon, and I'm downsizing the blocks a bit, too . . . and I was thinking it would be perfect for feather quilting :).
