What are you most proud of? Well, I am still working out the math on this one. I wanted to replace her center of her block with a stack and this one is not perfect, but I know the measurements I want to use next time. The finished size of this block came out the same as the original, so we are okay there. My finished block size is 25". I am delighted with the colors and the stack in the center. I am making notes in the margins of my pattern so that I can replicate my blocks in the future should I desire to make another. I am cutting my pieces from strips rather than from a fat quarter. And the stacks require extra fabric allowance.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Well, if you just want to have fun and you have basic skills, I would make the original block in the pattern. If you are an advanced quilter and want to challenge yourself, well, the sky is the limit I guess!
