What was your inspiration?

I was working with an unfinished project I began in 2010. So, I unpicked the seams from this oversized shirt, and then paired it down to meet the needs of the pattern. I omitted the darts at the front, but kept those from the back.

What are you most proud of?

Finishing this shirt, and making one that fits!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

batiste can be a fiddly fabric, starching it helps, and so does starting with a new, sharp needle.
