Nothing added to it. At room temperature this is how my Swiss buttercream looks.

Thank you. No this is not piping. To get this look you frost your cake as usual. It does not have to be smooth. you then use a tapered spatula and starting at the bottom you spin the cake on the turntable and work your way up. For the top of the cake you start on the outer edge of the cake you spin the turntable and work your way to the center. Quite simple and not time consuming and you get this lovely rustic look. Hope this helps.

Thank- you for taking the time to responds, really love the effect. I have seen this on some cakes but always wanted to know how to do this.
