What was your inspiration?
So many great versions of the Couture Dress out there, I wanted to create a version that had a vintage flair.
What are you most proud of?
I love how swishy this dress is! I added horsehair braid to the hem and it really helps to give this dress the body I was looking for. It's a blast to twirl around in it. I'm also proud of the inside which looks almost as good as the outside. The bra carriers were a revelation - this has solved a common sleeveless dress issue for me. Yay!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and learn as you go!
