What was your inspiration?
I originally made a swirling quilt using the 9 degree rulers and thought there had to be something else I could make with them. It was one of those "wake up in the night" ideas. I actually designed and wrote 2 different patterns for runners.
What are you most proud of?
This is an easy pattern to follow and lots of fun to make. I've worked very hard to write the pattern instructions so you don't have to guess with incomplete steps. I've included lots of diagrams. My students say this is a very fun technique and several have gone on to make more runners and placemats to coordiante.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's always a good idea to read the instructions completely before starting.
