What was your inspiration?

The desire to improve my quilting skills.

What are you most proud of?

That I am okay taking one small step at a time.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Practice, practice, practice. Especially with this design. I can tell it's going to take a while to find my 'groove' with the swirls.

I have a Janome 4800. This wasn't the very first attempt. I keep a muslin quilt sandwich next to my machine and will make two or three of a design before starting the real piece. It gives me a tiny bit of practice and helps me make sure the tension is good. Thanks for your kind words.
