What was your inspiration?

The Crochet Geek YouTube channel has a tutorial for a Swiffer cover, I didn't use the tutorial but I am borrowing her idea. This was my very first chain and very first single crochet swatch that I continued into a long strip in order to learn more about my tension. I didn't want the swatch to go to waste, and found her idea to be a very useful one!

What are you most proud of?

Now I don't have to buy dry mop pads, I can just wash my crochet cover.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Probably using a natural fiber would better stand up to repeated washings; however, the natural fiber yarn may shrink in the wash so I would make it a tad loose so that it continued to fit the Swiffer.
