A Friend at work was having her first baby! I wanted to give her a special gift for her baby girl. I really enjoy making baby items.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If instant gradification is your goal don't do this. It takes a long time, but the stitches are all basic. The instructions are clearly written.
The pattern is 10 years old.
