What are you most proud of?
The memories.....
I was traveling from Niagara Falls to Montreal with my (all late) parents and husband, we did see a nice house with an Add selling peaches, we stopped in the middle of the road to buy some, the house lady was so kind to offer us that her maid will wash them for us.
We ate them the sweet juice fruit in the trip, to avoid littering, since I had not a trash bag, I wrapped the pits on a paper tissue and put them on my blazer's pocket. I forgot,
Back at home while doing laundry, I "temporary" place the white wrap in a close by empty pot, to discharge them later (which I also forgot)
Sure enough, about 3 weeks later start sprouting, when I was going to remove the "trash", it was already full of leaves.
That was in 1996, we placed the tree in the middle of the patio,
later in Valentine's 1998 we moved to actual home, I refused to leave my tree there, so have to pay big $$$ to bring it alive to the new place.
Well, dad, hubby and mom already passed away, but every time I enjoy these peaches, I have the feeling we are sharing them yet.
