Sweet Pea Shawl

Instructions

This is from the Stitch Nation "Happy Hooker" book.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

Bamboo Ewe by Stitch Nation and a size I hook.

What was your inspiration?

The book "Happy Hooker". I LOVED the way this shawl looked and knew it would be perfect for cool nights during my NYC trip in a few weeks!!!

What are you most proud of?

Trying something new and figuring it out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use a yarn that has a glossy sheen. Bamboo Ewe doesn't, per se, but it always looks sheeny when crocheted up.

Great job! I love this yarn. I've used it several times and I love how soft and shiny it is! I can just imagine how wonderful this shawl feels (and I can see how lovely it looks!)

Oh, and that is my 8-year-old daughter, so the shawl isn't THAT long!
