What was your inspiration?

I made this quilt for the Japanese people following their tsunami. I needed a pattern that could be finished in 2 days and a pattern that spoke of the gentle art of Japan. Sooooo... I thought of Japanese fans and voila! Started, finished, and sent. Hope it brings comfort.
