What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make custom bedding for baby cribs that would not only be functional, but would be coordinated to the decor of the nursery. It is difficult to buy full bedding ensembles for cribs and infant beds.

What are you most proud of?

Love the look of a complete ensemble in the crib. It looks finished and completes the nursery decor.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just have fun with it. I think there are patterns from the major pattern companies for the bottom sheet. The top sheet was just made from the mattress measurements and additional added for bottom tuck under and top fold back. Pillow cases were made to fit crib sized pillows. The bottom sheets are fitted at the corners with elastic. I have made some ensembles that had two or three different coordinating pillowcases. Just use your imagination. The ensembles make GREAT baby shower gifts!!
