Instructions

When sewing the shoulders together you begin with the left shoulder. Instead of cutting the yarn to do the right shoulder you can slip stitch across the neck area to the right shoulder. This gives the neck a little more reinforcement too

What was your inspiration?

I saw this pattern on Red Heart.com and knew I had to make at least one for my granddaughter Courtney. I really like the pink one but the varigated she can wear with everything. The pink sweater is made from ILTY in Pinkytoes Sparkle. It has a silver thread running thru it. The varigated is RHSS in Calliope. Each sweater took just under 2 skeins of yarn

What are you most proud of?

I usually make things like afghans so getting the sems correct is something that I am proud of

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure to count properly as you go. I write down the row numbers and then cross off as I complete them. Also make sure to put the marker on the left shoulder so you have a reference as to where to begin the front panel. All in all this is a fairly easy pattern and written well. Its a pattern by the Double Stitch Twins!
