What was your inspiration?
I love the surplus dress pattern, but it isn't too practical for our Colorado winters so I cut it shorter to make a tunic and added long sleeves with a slight bell at the cuff.
What are you most proud of?
That it turned out better than I had expected!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used a lighter weight sweater knit. It is so soft and drapey.
