What needles did you use? US 4 / 3.5 mm

What materials did you use? Cascade 220 Sport yarn 164 yrds/50 gm

Based on swatch, 27 rows = 4 inches, so I will modify the instructions and start on row 12 and repeat a total of 2.5 times for chart 1 and then 1 time for chart 2. I like the teal color then the brighter blue. Width will give me about a 20inch hat on US 4 needles.

Also, I found hold the foreground and background color in the left hand and the 3rd color in the right hand to minimize the 'braiding' of the strands. Takes a little while to make sure the right hand moves the yarn back and forth for knit and purl respectively.
