What was your inspiration?

Trying out some different things here, obviously. I wanted the daisies along the edge...not sure if that is a good idea now that i see it. hmm. Was going to do the rest in plain stockinette, but decided it's too boring, so trying to think of what will come next. This is a crazy swatch.

I like the daisies! Maybe make a couple rows of them in zigzag - so the second set would slightly overlap the first and fall between them. Maybe have stems with leaves going up through the body of the shawl. Possibly use a more subtle yarn to show off the design?

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I thought about the 'stems'... possibly a small cable with leave? Not so sure yet. More swatches to do, that's for sure! Good point on the yarn> I grabbed the closest fingering. :)

I agree with Amora76... in a different color or more of a tonal color this would be really pretty!!!

Thank you for the comment! I'm thinking the same things. I've put this design on hold because it was making my brain hurt. I will definitely return to the daisies. :)
