Morag.. I thank you for the comments too. Your quilt IS beautiful, and so is your quilting... was this done by long arm? Or was that also part of the quilting instructions? It actually resembles a swallows tail in a stylized way!

It was long arm quilted by a professional long armer. I am only recently managing to machine quilt, a process which I am thoroughly enjoying!

Ah, thanks for your comments! Love this pattern, I've never seen it before and was anxious to try it myself...but I'm guessing we would have the same level of frustration, so nevermind - I'll just have to admire your beautiful quilt!! Nicely done.
