Materials

42 diapers, Bibs, Onesis, baby socks, regular size washcloths, baby washcloths, hand puppet washcloth, small baby shampoo bottle, baby spoons, silk flowers, silk foliage, tray, bamboo placemat, crinckle paper, chopsticks, fabric to mimic the nori for the sushi rolls, decorative items, rubber ducky, picture frame.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to give somthing different than the ususal diaper cake to my friend who is having a baby but chose not to know the gender until birth. so I though this was a good way to include lots of items for baby and not be gender specific. All babies need diapers, washcloths, onesis, socks, etc. etc... right?
All the diapers make up the "rice" portion of the sushi rolls, the other items are rolled up as well and make up the center of the rolls.
This creation was made for my friend Briette Peterson.

What are you most proud of?

Turned out really cute and not bad for my first time!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Let your imagination go wild! Most of all HAVE FUN!
