What materials did you use? Batiks, thread, silk cord

What are you most proud of? That I kept cutting away the fabric. I tend to become attached to fabrics. Cutting away the first layer was easy as it was a solid fabric. Once I got through the first layer I hesitated to cut into the next layer as I loved what I saw but then was also very inquisitive as to what the next layer would look like.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep cutting! Less is more!
