What materials did you use? Cotton Fabric and Jacquard Paints

What are you most proud of? The color play, as a result of this Craftsy Class. AND - allowing myself to play without being afraid of messing up. It's only fabric, after all!

I was really trying to bring a sense of the Victorian/Steampunk naturalist to this project. The quilted lines reminded me of latitude and longitude lines. I wish that I had transferred a vintage map image to the fabric as well as the floral images. The florals are all scientifically accurate botanical illustrations.

I really like what you have done, but I also really like your suggestion about a map. That's where working in a series can be a great way to expand one's ideas. Joen

Very original and creative! I do see the Steampunk/ Victorian theme coming through when I look at the close-ups, but the overall design in the more distant photos looks great, too.
