What was your inspiration?
I have a dear friend who has been having a rough go of it the past few months. I hate seeing her stressed and depressed, so I took her out for coffee the other day. During our conversation she mentioned that she could really use a bit of sunshine in her day. Naturally, my mind turned to mug rugs since I've been making so many of them lately. I designed a sunshiny mug rug and added a cup and saucer, then I tucked the mug rug into a bright yellow cup and gave it to her. Such a lovely smile filled her face! I'm glad I thought of this.
What are you most proud of?
Bringing a smile to sad friend.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
A quick and simple little project can make a world of difference in another person's day.
