What materials did you use? What I wanted was a palm leaf in front of a sunset; but no matter how I tried to pixelate it, the leaves just got lost. So I concentrated on the sunset and I would like to applique' the palm leaf on after the quilt is put together. I did all the photo manipulation in Paint Shop Pro. I took a class at the local quilt shop on using a long-arm machine and frame, which they rent by the hour, so now I have to decide what motifs to use when I quilt each section.
