What are you most proud of? That I actually finished the project, months after it was due. I learnt that I'm not a test knitter, but it was still good to finish this. I also didn't like the original color of the yarn so I dyed the finished shawl using Wilton Food Dyes and Vinegar at home, to get this vivid orange color.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's a very easy lovely pattern but because of the thin yarn and small needles, it's going to take a while to finish. Make this one of your long term projects that you keep coming to and don't get frustrated if you don't finish immediately. The finished product will be worth it.

This is lovely! You dyed it with food coloring?! I love the vivid orange you ended up with.

Yes I used Wilton food dyes, white vinegar and hot water.

Where do you find the patterns on this site?

I don't think this site is hosting patterns as yet (I could be wrong). To get this particular pattern, scroll to the top of this page. Under "Make this project", click on "Tree and Arbor Wrap" and it will take you to the designer's page. Please let me know if this works.

Beautiful! I admire your tenacity to complete the project. Knitting tends to work up slowly, but the results are worth the time spent.
