What was your inspiration?

Vickie Howell

What are you most proud of?

I am still working on it because it should become a blanket for a king-sized bed. I already crocheted 80 squares. Now I am blocking, weaving in ends and joining the squares. I am most proud of not giving up, because it's much work. But I think it's worth the effort. It makes our room warm and cozy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

* Experiment with colours.
* Weave in ends as soon as you have finished some squares. Don't leave it all to the end.
* Block the squares before joining. They open up and look loftier and softer.

Thank you! Your wonderful course inspired me to start such a big project. I am not finished yet - still weaving in ends, joining pieces and working on the edges. The blanket should cover a kingsized bed. I will post a photo as soon as I am finished.
