Magical Monk on

What materials did you use? I used some of the funkiest greens FQ and scraps from my scrap pile and a really ugly Batik that has been staring at me since I started sewing 10 years ago. Cotton batting the only batting I'll use, tonal black cotton for the back and multi colored thread in the bobbin and top stitching, so the back is interesting too.

I've seen watching Big Techniques from small Scraps with Sarah Fielke I was so inspired by lesson 7 Free Curves I march into my sewing studio and make this. It's was such freedom to brake away from my normal sewing work to make a piece of art. I haven't felt that inspired in years.
