What was your inspiration?
I found this t-shirt at a boy's clearance section in Target. I just loved the orange and white borders, and couldn't resist taking it home.
What are you most proud of?
I was able to make the tunic exactly as I had intended. I was so excited to see my little girl in it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When I made this shirt she was 5 years old. The t-shirt was a Target size M for a boy; I think that is the same as size 8. Keep in mind that you will need a bigger shirt to make a tunic.
