What was your inspiration?
The chapter of the Richmond Quilt Guild that I belong to issued a challenge to create a wallhanging use three crayola colors. This was the pattern that I designed and created. I used gold metallic bias binding for the spine of the feathers in the border. I used some decorative stitches for the center of the sunflowers. The flowers and leaves have been trapunto. I painted the quilt for highlighting.
What are you most proud of?
The quilt is bright and cheerful.
