What advice would you give someone starting this project? Someone starting this project should follow all the instructions & have the tools like the Add-a-Quarter 12" ruler. Be sure and BASTE - it's your saving grace for great points. Listen to the lesson many different times, as there are so many tips & techniques to hear and watch. Great class!

I'm working on the Star Light 9- Patch. Everything is cut and in order! ;-) Two trays - actually used two of my large square-up rulers (one for #7 & one for #40) hold fabric with little marked Post-It's! Organization Is key! Now I'm up to adding 4 & 5 fabrics to be finished with unit #7's. Repetition is so helpful to keep you from making errors. On the first one yesterday, i sewed # 1 on before adding #2! lol Left a card on my machine to set stitch length to "1.5" and in a bit will at least go finish my #7 units. Have a super Memorial Day!

Hey Mare, Wait until you get to the Star Light wall hanging! Really impressive! I'm just using the fabrics I have. Made Jamie a Double Wedding Ring laptop so some of those fabrics are in this one. She is a wonderful instructor. Leaves no stone unturned - thank goodness! ;-)

Thank you Carol! I enjoy your explicit instruction. I've even clicked into putting my pins in the piece like you - so you don't have to move them when sewing (plus they hold when they stay in - duh!). Power on!
