What was your inspiration?

The reason I chose the color I did for this particular pattern is because they resemble my most favorite Asters that were in my garden. It is a long story, but the Asters no longer are there because my hubby thought they were weeds. Having them in a quilt totally solves that problem!

What are you most proud of?

The finished result.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a fabulous technique to use in piecing this quilt. If you have never paper pieced before, the Judy Niemeyer way is the best there is, totally organized and methodical!

Absolutely stunning. I love asters. It also reminds me of the dahlia's in my mothers flowerbed. Great Job!
