What materials did you use? cotton & batting

What are you most proud of? Perhaps the colors? I also liked using my decorative stitches.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It would have been a bit easier if I'd used sequentially longer framing pieces as shown in the class.

My dilemma is that I couldn't find the right batting. I guess I can use it as a trivet. ;)
