What was your inspiration?
Catherine designed this sock for the month of June in The Sock Calendar book. The Summer Solstice is in June, marking the start of summer. Airy, lightweight lace socks are always welcome at this time of year - both as a small, lightweight project to carry around while knitting, and for wearing.
What are you most proud of?
I love the hot salsa colors.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This very easy lace stitch is quick to memorize and relaxing to knit (only one pattern row with yarn overs every 4 rounds). This makes the project especially good as a take-along for your summer activities.
