Here are some details about my project:

What materials did you use? Patent blue leather and silver leather, Swarovski crystals

What are you most proud of? Handles, being sewn by hand

Yes... That was quite difficult to design and to produce at last.... I had to make one that was not perfect, before I was a bit satisfied... I used glue and a particular material inside around which I wrapped leather, but before doing this I made the top of the handle in silver just to produce a bit contrast. I had to use my skiving machine, because that kind of leather was a bit too thick for this technique.

Magnificent work. What type of skiving machine do you have? Also what type of sewing machine do you sew on? I have a flat bed industrial walking foot and I am looking for one for sewing my bags. What would you suggest?

Beautiful bag! It's so creative! I was wondering how you applied the crystals. Are they glued on or are they studs? Very very eye-catching!

No.. I just glued them... Bug I don't know if it's a good idea... I came across a method which is licensed by Swarovski and it is specific for leather (I read it on their site). Anyway I just applied them quite simply using some universal glue.

Love the gold accents. The crafting of the handle is outstanding.

Very classy! I agree with Don about patent leather being harder to use: I've made a few bags (not from this class) in patent & found worst job was turning it inside out & back again. Its just so stiff! Love yor colors & love how you did the handle.
