This one is a beginners project that only requires sewing in straight lines. Both this one and my Windmills at Night patterns were made specifically for beginners.

How jellyrolls for a king size? I wanted to use one whole one then maybe cuit the 2nd in half lengthwise and use the halves on either side of the wholel with maybe a solid piece between each of the halves and the whole. Any one seen anything like this idea?

Not sure if I can envision what you are wanting to make. But I can tell you that with the original pattern, for a King size measuring 72" x 84", you would need 5-1/2 jelly rolls. Hope that helps. Suzy

Jelly roll fabric is pre-cut strips of fabric- usually a collection of coordinating colors. Easy to use as the colors have already been matched and the fabric already cut. All you have to do is sew!
ladytink on craftsy.com
Mar 23, 2012   Flag as inappropriate
jelly rolls are 2 and 1/2 in strips of material all different colours or colour co-cordinated eg black and whites, purple and blue shades there are 40 strips in a pack each strip is the width of the material and they are rolled up into a roll

My squares are not really square. They have a little diamond shape to them. I have checked my seams and they are correct. Just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
suzy6281 on craftsy.com
Feb 05, 2012   Flag as inappropriate
Some have suggested that it is easier with a template. Try cutting a 5 1/2" template out of cardboard. Line the top point with the top seam and the two other points with the bottom seam.
