Have just bought some lovely coloured sock yarn, didn't want to make socks with it so your pattern will be just the thing. Love the waves in the feather and fan border. Thanks for extra help with the border in your Miscellanea. :)

I downloaded the pattern. I love both the original color and the Summer Garden Birthday version. What color yarn was used for the Summer Garden Birthday Shawl?

I found it hard to line up my feathers and fans border. I knitted, unknitted, knitted, I don't know how many times. Now I'm trying again, by putting markers every 18 stitches. Hope it comes out right this time.

I just finished two more of these, and really find the markers almost essential. Keeps me in check.
