What was your inspiration?

So I didn't make this as part of the Modern Piping class, but I couldn't have done it without the class. Thank you Mr. Russell, for teaching me so much and saving me in this wedding cake project! :)

What are you most proud of?

The piping. Not too bad (though I know I need lots of practice).

Beautiful cake. Was the middle tier hard to do with the diamond stencil? Any hints you can share?

Thank you! No, actually, it wasn't hard because I don't use a stencil, or even the diamond cutters to imprint. I don't like them, I find them too difficult to control. I actually just used a ruler, a set square and a couple of gumpaste tools to make the lines in the fondant. I painted the diamonds with white pearl dust to make them pop a bit - white on white is not very eye-catching! Thanks for the comments!

Thank you! Yes, the flowers are fresh. The bride's sister is a florist, so of course she had to have fresh flowers! :)
