What was your inspiration?
I thought this particular self-striping sock yarn would make a really cute dress for Felicity, so I made this dress as a birthday present for my daughter. I loved how the pretty floral pattern emerged as I knit.
It turned out so well, I made another dress to sell in my Zibbet shop, and I wrote up the pattern.
What are you most proud of?
This was my first written pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This would be a good project for an advanced beginner. It's not very big, so it goes rather quickly. It is knit in the round, similar to a sock, but you only have to make one and there is no heel to turn!
The pattern includes links to video demonstrations of the more advanced techniques.
