Handspun alpaca and handpainted Tussah silk. I plied the silk with the white alpaca the colour of the silk is Stained Glass.

I was so happy with the first one I did I wanted to do it again in a different colour

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read the pattern first. Any yarn will make it it can be fine or thicker if its thicker use bigger needles the shawl will be bigger.
