These dresses were based on the same pattern as for my mothers shift dresses. The maxi dresses the bodice was based on this pattern and the skirt was just pleated to fit the waistline.Difficulty:

I bought a lot of this silk cotton voile - it is so light and cool to wear for hot summer days.
What are you most proud of?
How well made the dresses are. Making my own design. Pattern matching in the bia dress.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
These dresses are easy and quick to make especially if you have an overlocker. The fabric can be bought at www.sewings.com and is fairly cheap. Prints come from Stella Yue on www.aliexpress.com
