What advice would you give someone starting this project? Very quick and easy to make, you will want to make more than one. I used up a couple of pieces of fabric that were too small for anything else. Nancy Z has wonderful instructions, I went by the instructions and had no problems. I will be making more of these.

Sew pretty! Ladies, if you are sewing (or thinking about sewing) pillowcase dresses, I am the Connecticut State Ambassador for Dress a Girl Connecticut and would welcome more help in making these type of dresses in all sizes for little girls! We bless little girls in need all over the world with their very own pillowcase dresses. It puts a smile on her face, she is told she is special, beautiful and has worth. This puts a smile on her face and raises her self esteem! This is so important for girls to hear! We bless them, in many cases, with the first dress they have ever owned. For more information, please visit my Facebook page: Dress a Girl Connecticut. We have collectively made over 165,000 dresses and blessed girls in over 66 countries to date! Get involved! You will feel good and be doing good as well! We would welcome your help! I have a blog also with more information:
