What was your inspiration?
I heard about the Little Dresses for Africa project and decided to make some dresses with embroidery and patchwork.
What are you most proud of?
Came up with about 12 different ideas with embroidery and patchwork.
This particular dress went to a little girl in US who's parents were losing their home. All the others went to an orphanage in Lusaka,Zambia to Chikumbuso.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Start simply, buy easy patterns and interesting fabrics, don't be afraid to mix fabrics and trims, have fun!
