What materials did you use? I used quilting cottons from Amy Butler Desin and Michael Miller Fabrics, Isacord Embroidery Thread and 100% Cotton quilt batting.

What are you most proud of? The embroidery and overall design. I did all of the word art in my Singer Futura Hyperfont software, sew fun!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure twice, cut once... And to lay out your pieces before stitching to ensure everything will line up.

This is adorable. Love the colors also. Might be tempted to try with hand embroidery and or basic stitches on machine.

You could absolutely do it with both. I think it'd be gorgeous with hand embroidery... maybe use water soluble pen to write your sayings in different sized text, with a simple running stitch over them? I'd love to know if/when you try it! XxOo~M

Dear So ----- thanks for the reply. I have added it "oh so long bucket list". I have so darn many things cooking, I want to finish a quilt (Amy's BOM) so I can move on to some smaller stuff soon........If I ever make one, I'll post! Promise
