What was your inspiration?
I was trying to design a pattern that is easy to follow and memorize that would be perfect for either worsted weight or sport weight yarn. I also wanted to design something that would look good with handspun yarn. Subtle Grace is written for both weights of yarn and comes in size x-small to large.
What are you most proud of?
I love the fact that this is a pattern for 2 weights of yarn and looks beautiful in handspun.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a pattern for someone who knows how to knit, purl, k2tog, ssk and m1. It is a good introduction to thumb gussets too.
