sterling sheet metal, copper sheet metal, sterling wire, saw, solder, torch

What was your inspiration?

Many of the flowers in my garden are going to seed right now. The copper parts of the earrings are inspired by the seed cones in the center of my echinacea flowers and a few others.

What are you most proud of?

coming up with the design.

Drawing, sawing, punching, soldering! Yes! I too have fading echinacea and like this lovely evocation of them. Did you use LOS for your patina -- you have an extra shading/dimensionality there that makes it pop.
