Persevere to finish even if you really dislike your work during the process.
I really disliked my piece in between the endof machine stitching and start of handwork - by the time the last of the embroidery was being completed I'd started to like it again...and I am always my harshest critic!!

I think it's beautiful and interesting. I especially like the ribbon with the circles. Two lines above the ribbon you have some stitching that kind of looks like small french knots and lines in white. Is that what stitching you used?

Every piece I create goes through an "ugly" stage. I'm so glad you experienced that yourself and persevered. It is a lesson well learned -- in life and in art. Thanks for sharing.
