What was your inspiration?
The white lace was attractive to me and I wanted to include it.
What are you most proud of?
This was my first piece. It is laden with stitches. I included beads as well. Each bead is hand strung and individually tied and knotted on the back.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take the time to listen to the class instructions before starting. Had I realized I had to leave spacing between my hand embroidery and machine stitching, the project might not be so compacted. As it was, it simply enhanced this yellow variegated fabric.
