What materials did you use? Various different types of thread; cottons; bark cloth. This was a piece for a charity called 'Hands Up for Uganda' - Shoe project. People have been invited to stitch into a piece of bark cloth using any method they choose. The pieces are then made up into Art shoes for an exhibition next year here in the UK.

Your piece is stunning and I love the fact that you were inspired by the "Hands UP for Uganda" - Shoe project. Great inspiration!

For those of you who are interested this embroidered barkcloth has now been made into a pair of 'art shoes' - see the facebook page Barkcloth to Artcloth or 'Hands up for Uganda'.
