Thank you for offering us this class. I really don't know what I expected from this class, but I got so much more than I ever thought. Thread/Fiber art will be something I will want to do for a long time. Ms. Waugh I love your new work. That is what is so great about this class, everyone see and does things differently.

How much is hand stitching versus machine?
Carol Ann Waugh on craftsy.com
Jan 16, 2013   Flag as inappropriate
This piece has just a few lines of hand stitching -- mostly couching and decorative machine stitching. There are no rules to follow when deciding how much of what to put into a piece like this and each one I make is different.

The first thing I noticed that was different about your new work was the little circles or pebbles. They fill the empty spaces and are effervescent'. It immediately gave me a feeling of Joy bubbling up from within. I love it. Do more free motion. It adds a lot of energy to your artwork.
