What materials did you use? Cotton calico painted with silk fabric paints. Various embroidery thread and braids. Polyester quilt wadding.

What are you most proud of? That I completed it. It just got better looking with each stage.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it!! Experiment and be prepared to get hooked :-)

What stitch did you use for the little blue and purple "bows"?

Hi. It is called a 'sheaf stitch', it is a few parallel straight stitches with another straight stitch in the middle, at right angles, to pull them in like a wheat sheaf.
